About Us

At Scalp Guy, we specialize in restoring confidence through the art of Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP). Founded by husband-and-wife duo Bik and Sokkha, our studio blends medical-grade precision with artistic detail to create natural-looking results for anyone experiencing hair loss.

We know how personal hair loss can be — and that’s exactly why we take a personalized, honest, and no-pressure approach to every consultation. Whether you’re dealing with thinning hair, bald spots, a receding hairline, or transplant scars, our goal is simple: help you feel good in your skin again.

Bik Shrestha

Bik is the co-founder and the driving force behind Scalp Guy, where his mission is simple: to help people feel like themselves again. What began as behind-the-scenes support for his wife’s beauty studio (Brow Lady) soon turned into a calling — after witnessing firsthand the emotional transformations of clients regaining their confidence, Bik knew he wanted to bring that same impact through Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP).

With over a decade of experience in the quality assurance world, Bik brings an unmatched eye for detail and precision. He’s the guy who sees what others miss — and it shows in every carefully placed dot. His calm, thoughtful approach ensures every client feels at ease, fully informed, and genuinely cared for.

Outside the studio, Bik is a dedicated husband to Sokkha and a playful dad to two little ones. On his days off, you’ll find him being chased by kids in full gorilla mode or sitting still as a makeup model for his daughter Khaiia. He’s also a serious foodie, a die-hard Manchester United fan, and always up for a conversation about stocks and crypto — so don’t be surprised if you leave with a fresh hairline and a few investment tips.

Sokkha Va

Sokkha is a licensed PMU artist, educator, and Reiki Master who brings both precision and intuition to every client she works with. As co-founder of Scalp Guy and founder of Brow Lady Microblading, she’s spent the past decade helping people feel whole, confident, and at peace in their own skin — whether through brows, scalp micropigmentation, or medical tattooing.

Her expertise includes brow tattooing, scar camouflage, and areola restoration — and she trains aspiring PMU artists to do the same with skill and heart. Known for her gentle energy and detail-focused technique, Sokkha approaches her work as both art and healing.

When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find her on long nature walks, deep in a book on quantum healing, or listening to near-death experience podcasts while reflecting on her own journey of self-love and spiritual growth.

She lives in the Greater Boston area with her husband Bik, their two little ones Khaiia and Beau, and their Goldendoodle Maui (yes — named after the Moana one).
